Terms of service
Who you are contracting with
The service is provided by EUROPE WIFI S.R.L., registered office Via di Bellosguardo 2/R, 50124 Firenze (FI), Italy, VAT number and tax code 06866170480, trading as Europe Rent WiFi. Email info@europerentwifi.com, phone +39 055 286531. Full company details are on the legal notice. By booking you accept these terms; they are available here at any time, and the confirmation email links to them.
1. The service
We store luggage at staffed points and hand it back to you, or to a person you have named, against the receipt or the booking code. In Florence and Capri bags are kept in numbered lockers inside the shop, opened and closed only by our staff, who are present for the whole opening time; in Naples they go into lockers inside the Molo Beverello terminal, with our attendant beside them. This is a custody service, not a warehouse rental.
2. Opening hours
All shops are open 9:00 to 20:00, every day. Drop-off and collection can only happen within those hours. There is no out-of-hours collection, because there is nobody in the shop to hand the bag back — plan your day around this.
3. Prices and how they are calculated
Prices are per bag. There are three brackets — up to one hour, up to three hours, and a full day — and the cheapest bracket that covers your stay is applied automatically. A small bag costs €6.90 a day, a large one €9.90. There is no booking fee and no service charge. The price shown before payment is the price charged; see the price list.
4. Booking and payment
A booking is confirmed when payment succeeds and you receive the confirmation email with your booking code. Before that, a space is held for a short time while you complete checkout; if you do not, the space is released. Payment is taken by Stripe.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the drop-off time you booked, using the link in your confirmation email. Cancellations inside 24 hours, and bags never dropped off, are not automatically refunded: call the shop, because circumstances differ and we would rather deal with the actual situation.
If you are a consumer and the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) gives you a right of withdrawal for this distance contract, you can exercise it within 14 days of booking by writing to info@europerentwifi.com, unless the service has already been performed. In practice our free cancellation up to 24 hours before drop-off covers almost every case and needs no form.
6. Late collection
If you collect after the time you booked, the additional time is charged at the ordinary rates in section 3. No penalty is added and nothing is doubled. If you have not collected by closing time and we cannot reach you, the bag stays in the shop and you can collect it the next opening day, with the extra time charged the same way.
7. What we will not accept
Animals, perishable food, flammable, explosive, corrosive or otherwise dangerous goods, illegal items, and anything of high value — cash, jewellery, securities, essential documents or medicines you may need during the day. Staff may refuse an item at the counter, and will do so before taking payment.
By leaving a bag you confirm it contains none of the above, and that the contents are lawfully yours to leave.
8. Liability
We are responsible for keeping your luggage with the care of a diligent custodian, and we answer for loss or damage caused by our fault. We are not responsible for items we said we would not accept, for pre-existing damage, for the perishing of contents by their own nature, or for loss caused by an inaccurate description of what is inside.
Our responsibility follows the rules of the Italian Civil Code on deposit (articles 1766 and following). Compensation is assessed on the actual, proven value of ordinary travel contents; items listed in section 7 are not covered, which is why we ask you not to leave them. If you need to leave something of unusual value, tell us at the counter before we take the bag.
9. Unclaimed luggage
A bag not collected on the booked day is kept in the shop and we keep trying to reach you with the details on the booking. If it is still with us thirty days after the booked collection and two written notices have had no answer, we treat it as abandoned: identity documents are handed to the authorities, and the rest is dealt with as Italian law allows for deposited goods that are not collected, after the storage due has been deducted.
10. Personal data
How we handle your data is set out in the privacy policy.
11. Applicable law and disputes
Italian law applies. Nothing in these terms removes the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Italian and EU law; if you are a consumer resident in Italy, the court of your place of residence has jurisdiction.
If something goes wrong, write to us first: most problems are solved at the counter or by email within a few days. You can also turn to an alternative dispute resolution body under the Consumer Code (Part V, Title II-bis). The European online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025 (Regulation (EU) 2024/3228) and is no longer available.
